Ways to make money with Video?

I see a lot of youtube users with corporate sponsors or other short film makers (which I thought was horrible) has made money with their videos whether via sponsorship or getting their dvds on the shelf for renting. Even getting the film on the local on demand service for renting with the local cable company. I just wanted to hear ways and ideas on the ways people are making or could make money with their videos.

Right off the top of my head I figured if I did well at this to offer a commercial creation service to local businesses such as furniture stores or attorney offices. Really like to hear more about this from some others who have something to say about it..

I ofcourse forgot adsense. I myself do not care for it much as it blocks out your video partially. I would say adsense gets more clicks by people who acidentally clicked it trying to click the "x" though.. Not sure though.
