Sony DCR VX1000

I just bought a vx1000 and i wanna know how i can get the best video quality out of it.

The Sony DCR VX1000 is a nice camera. The best way to get a good image quality is to know how to use every single function of that new camera while having it in full manual mode. Also remember most cameras like light so be sure to have studio lights around and a good on cam light for field shots.

if your camera doesnt have a hot shoe mount for an extra light is there an alternative like still camera have after market flasgun holders that look like a metx setup is there the same for small handheld cameras too?
Anyone had any experience with these?
