Whats your thoughts on the Reflecmedia Lite Ring?
I know they don't sell this at Tube tape but it looks very cool.
The only down part is the subject has to be 10 feet away from the camera, but the results look stellar and keeps the green screen lit perfectly.
Its also pretty expensive compared to other methods.
Does this cause shadows though if you stand 2 close to the screen or not?
You still need 2-3 mxlights to light the subject. (3 point lighting)
But this takes care of the 2-3 lights you would need to light the green screen.
Any one use it and what is your advice?
Heres the link.

Re: Whats your thoughts on the Reflecmedia Lite Ring?
I saw this product last year and although it keys out very well it has some flaws such as:
- High price
- With only one light source I would imagine shadows would become a problem
- Seems to spill light on the subject a little too much to my eye...

I'm still sticking with a muslin screen...

Although, indeed this seems like a cool product, but I do not think it will completely replace the traditional green screen, for that it's in relation just too expensive and your subject is lid green too (but can't this be solved by white balancing the camera to a green shade?)

White balancing to a shade of green will through off all your other colors.
