how to remove rope

First of all, i like to thank Mr, Mark for doing a such a wonderfull job for giving us all the information and knowledge on filming, thank you, today i need some information on how to remove rope, like in action movie they does in specially on fighting scene, i use final cut and motion, if you could help me out.

Easy, Simply create a mask on the layer you want to remove a section of and keyframe the mast shape and position moving a few frames at a time.

I do this type of work in After Effects but down run a Mac here in the studio. I'm sure with some help of the manual and such you will be able to work with masks easily.

You could try looking for a tutorial on CreativeCow.net or YouTube but I will do a short masking tutorial in After Effects so you can get a better understanding of what a mask normally does and such.

is there any video that i could learn, or anylink that i can watch, how to remove rop or special effect or lence that can buy,
