I've rendered my video in .mpg and its only 17MB (1 minute duration), I've set 30 FPS, but it seems like its not enough to process image movement in the video... What's that h.263 thing everyone's talking about ? I mean I know it's for compression, but on which format can I put it on? I need HD quality with max FPS, and in as small amount as possible in MB (I have a 1.5MB/128KB connection, pathetic i know...)

The video I'm trying to render is this one:

Please if you can help me, it would be most appreciated....

~Best Regards

try an MPEG4 or Quicktime MOV output format using the H.264 codec. You should not need to go any higher than 30 frames per second on any video output.

Resolution chart:
Standard def. camera at 4:3 - Export at 640x480
Standard def. camera at 16:9 - Export at 720x480
High Def. camera at 16:9 - Export at 1280x720, (using this size gives you that "HD" quality on youtube)

You can export a standard def wide format camera to 1280x720 which is what I do, but it will need to be scaled up and won't look outstandingly clear at that point.

This H.264 is a type of compression codec. If you're confused, you're not the only one. We really need to settle on one or two simple formats for video.
When it comes to audio, WAV and MP3 are our two mains.

For screen captures, export as a Quicktime MOV format with the H.264 codec but capture your screen in a 1280x720 area.
I use Camtasia studio for my screen recording and it lets you adjust all those type settings easily.

Hosting is done off your computer so your slow computer and internet won't effect quality. A slow upload speed will simply give you a slow count down when putting the file up to the server, (aka, uploading the source file to youtube).

You took your video down and so I can't see how the example looks but I think if you follow my examples, you'll be fine.

Looks like it came out good. There's always a codec used weather you set it to use a specific one or it picks a default at rendering stages.

I see most of the scaled down and resized screen shots where a little fuzzy but you are close enough to the point where it's easy to read.

Good job on the video.

BTW forumotion is an ok hosting site however they do slow down every now and then as I've experienced here at Marks website which uses this service.

I read your comment on youtube, sorry for deleting it, i'm making several tutorials on how to use forumotion, so i don't want negative comments on that page. I agree that it does have its disadvantages, but a lot of people, as well as myself think that its the best free forum hosting.

Yea the quality came out well...

thanks

~Cheers

I didn't think my comment was negative, just posting my thoughts as anyone else will do.
Sometimes you just gotta let everything though as you should let the goods and bads out there when putting a review up. When I do my gear reviews, I go over the pros of a product, but also the cons...which I feel is very important to put. It doesn't make the product look bad, just lets people know there may be something they may not like or lets the designers of the product know they may want to change those things.
Same with software, people are going to be looking at your videos thinking if they want to use this software or not. If you don't let the cons on the comments, people will be like "oh, you're just trying to make this look amazing when it's really not".

But anyways, that's just my thoughts.
