Please Help Me!!!!

I have sony vegas pro 9, and I'm such a noob! I'm trying to make a video with a video track and an audio track, but I only want the audio/ song to be heard, I don't want to hear the noises from the video. I've tried the mute and solo buttons but, I'm not really getting anywhere, so, how do I make the video muted and the song the only thing playing? with the pics of course.

What is the actual issue with muting or turning down the audio track from the camera? Normally that exports it without that clip track playing back.
You could also ungroup the audio/video layer and delete the audio track from the camera keeping only the new music track in place.
