Hey,

How can you create (e.g. in After Effects) the effect where everything is in black&white except on coulor or coulor range?
For example, when you shot some people wearing yellow T-shirst on a grass field, with the effect applied and set on yellow, everything is B&W exept for the shirts.

Thanks in advance, WVD

In my media course/ animation course at college (2 years ago) we had to improvise and try to create some cool effects

for e.g.

we set up a video camera and filmed the background without an actor in front of the camera, we then got the actor to stand in front

for a short period of time, we then edited and added a fade transition , so it appeared that the actor had just fazed in/appeared from nowhere

we also tried messing about with toy sizes, for eg had the actor to the left of ...

...yes, I've edited on Premiere for 5+ years and have never even touched After Effects. I signed up for a two part class at the college and they got all of us CS3 Masters which was very nice of them. Apparently the school got a huge check a short time ago as they are getting so many students this year. We also upgraded from Avid Xpress 4.5 to Media Composer and upgraded the old CRTs to dual LCD and got new quad core desktops.

The editing room was in need of a large update...the computers ...

Hey Folks,

Previous week I came across this: Magic bullet Instant HD Advanced.

It says it can easely convert lower quality to HD format...

Wouldn't this be THE solution when working with a low resolution camera???
