I'm trying to decide between a Sony HVR-Z1U for $1749 and a Sony HDR-FX7 for $1,999 (both new).

Will be used for shooting professional indoor HD green screen video of standing or seated subjects (little to no movement). Will most likely get a shotgun mic to go with.

Any thoughts are welcome... Are these overkill for the intended use?
